Quote of the Day







 

So I have this thing with quotes, I absolutely love reading quotes and as I was scrolling down this one caught my eye. "Most problems in are because of 1 of 2 reasons 1: We act without thinking and 2: We think without acting." and it really hit me this is so true. Whenever we get ourselves in to troubles occur because we don’t think and just act. How many of us have said or done something without thinking and right when we said it we regretted it and just wished we could go back  and keep our mouth shut. Just saying this most likely brings memory in everyone head. I feel whenever I get an argument I say a lot of things that I really don’t mean and if I actually stopped and thought for a minute a lot of arguments would end a lot quicker. And the second one we keep thinking without acting. I am definitely guilty of this one, I can think of so many things I have thought of starting but never even started such as running, DIY projects, joining certain clubs in school, etc. The thing i am always thinking of is being bold and sharing my ideas. I tend to be very shy but I’m starting to get better at stop thinking of what people think of me and doing what I want to. Life is short, and at the end of the day you have to be satisfied with yourself so stop thinking and start doing!

Happiness is...


Lately, with all of the craziness around me involving school, work, and everything that needs to done I stopped seeing all of the small things in life which are true happiness. I felt like I sort of only started looking for the weekends, which made the five days in between go by without actually acknowledging the beauty in those days as well. Today as I finished my homework and had some late night thinking I thought of all the things that make my happy and realized I haven’t done a blog post, so I decided to create a list of what happiness is for me. I hope you enjoy and realize of all the little things we often forget about! Good night, and dream big!



Happiness is:
1. Falling in love.
2. Laughing so hard your face hurts.
3. A hot shower.
4. No lines at the supermarket.
5. A special glance.
6. Getting a handwritten letter in the mail.
7. Taking a drive on a pretty road.
8. Hearing your favourite song on the radio.
9. Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.
10. Hot towels fresh out of the dryer.
11. Vanilla milkshake.
12. A bubble bath.
13. Watching your favorite movie.
14. A good conversation.
15. The beach
16. Finding a note in your coat.
17. Eating fruit.
18. Eye contact with a someone hot.

Treating A Bad Day

Bad days, I'm pretty sure we all have those occasionally and when we do have them everything that that someone does normally pisses us off. Majority of the time bad days are caused by little events that normally would be annoying but when all the little annoying things piece together that's when we just get frustrated or sad. For me when I have a bad day, I always feel angry and annoyed at every little thing that goes on. For instance today just little things plans getting cancelled, my cake getting ruined, and overall the weather. yes the weather can play a big impact especially if your living in Washington or in other words the rainy state. Its finally summer the only time its sunny in Washington and it's been a week and it's been pouring making a lot us in a gloomy mood. anyway back on track, how do I treat my bad days. This most likely sounds cheesy but I like to think positive and go back and remember a happy part of my day. this doesn't have to be extremely  happy just something that caused you to smile or laugh. Then later on that night is normally the time when I sort of treat myself and I start off with a nice warm bath or shower depending how much time I have.  I like to let go of any stress that I have and just focus on happy thoughts. Change into your favorite pajama's or a comfy pair of sweats with your hair up.  then of course no one can be happy without food so I go for fruit. I only go for fruit because that is my favorite snack ever! I love fruit, but of course any food will work. then I like to isolate myself for at least a little while and just enjoy my fruit and watch TV or read a good book. Normally I am a person who likes to be alone whether I'm mad or sad instead of being surrounded by other. That's sort of how I like to boost my happiness on my bad days, I feel like a majority of people already do this on bad days but if you don't hey maybe it will help you and make you smile. just remember that it's your choice to be happy, so forget your problems and focus on the positive things. and also keep in your mind it's just a bad day not a bad life. I feel like when anyone is having a bad day we think we have the worst life ever and forget about all the things were blessed for. Summer Styles

 
With summer finally here, new styles and trends come along with it. I have to say I really like a lot of the summer styles because they are so cute and comfortable These are some of my favorite trends of the season. Starting from the bottom to the top, my favorite summer 
summer shoes are wedges or sandals. I feel wedges are the perfect summer time heels since they have a nice platform which gives us girls a extra inches on our height, and also either dressing up or dressing down a outfit. Also sandals in the summer time, show off our perfect pedicures and give the outfit a more dressed up feel. For bottoms I really have been loving maxi skirts, there the perfect causal dressy outfit. Also they are so comfortable and look very high fashion. If your not really the dress person, I love high wasted shorts. I feel like there more classy and if give the outfit a more fitted looked. Also for those chiller summer nights, I think colored pants or floral pants defiantly spice up the outfit. For tops I have been really liking the sort of the flowy sheer shirts, because they are so stylish and since the cloth is also sheer you don't get too hot well your outside. I have also been seeing a lot of girls with the crochet lace shirts, I think these shirts go so well with colored jeans or floral jeans because they are a more cuter then a plain white shirt, but there not taking away from the colored pants and creating a
outfit with too much going on. Even in the summer time a lot of us living in the colder states still have to wear jackets and for me that is the case. So on those summer nights I like to add a denim jacket either with sleeves or sleeveless. of course most of know denim on denim never clashes so when your wearing jeans you can
pull over light summer cardigan. Last but not least accessories, an outfits never complete without the jewelry and bags. So for me personally I love the big statement jeweled necklaces. These statement necklaces dress up any plain tee. Also I think some arm candy also always looks pretty in the summer time, just by piling up some bracelets can make your whole look a lot more dressed up. Quote of the Day: Being Happy



You might have heard the sayings; happiness starts with you or if you want to be happy be. I read this quote probley a million times before I actually started applying it to my life. It sounds so simple and it really is, but I don’t maybe it's a high school thing to make everything more complicated than it really is. I know a lot of people who I feel are always down or depressed, and the thing is no matter what occurs in your life it's up to how you want to react to the situation. After one of my close friends sort caught up with the whole sad, life suck phase i really realized she gets sad over things that don’t go her way or about things she can’t change. I knew from that moment, it time to accept things you can’t change. You can’t control a lot of things, but your happiness is something you can! And to be honest life is a lot more fun when you’re happy, and remember a smile is contagious. So stop complaining about life, and just be happy :)

Working Out!


Hey,

Sorry I haven't blogged in a while! Today I want to write about something, everyone had tried and majority of us just end up giving up. Come on now be honest, how many of you say every new year this is the year when I'm going to start exercising and becoming fit. I definitely am with you guys on that one, for a really long time know I have been wanting to change my lifestyle, exercise and be more fit. This year I have to say I have been doing better than other years. I work out for a month consistent, then I will just stop then I will start again. But my goal is by June I want to start working on a daily basis. The thing with working out is just part of actually getting yourself to workout is the worst part, actually doing it and the after feeling is a
mazing. Some ways that I would motivate myself to start working out is working out right after school. I came home and I know the faster I get it out of the way with, the more chances I have of actually doing it. Other days when I was already tired, I'm really weird and I love when I get sweaty because then I feel accomplished. So what I do is, I tell myself to earn my shower and that really gets me excited and motivated to start exercising. On Pinterest, I have a fitness board where I pin a lot of, encouraging quotes and ideas. Once I find myself reading them I look at it in the long run and I know this is something I will conquer. The workouts that I do are a lot of Jillian Michael's workouts. My favorite workout and the one I tend to do every day would be the Jillian Michael: Banish fat, boost metabolism workout video. I have internet on my T.V so I just tend to go to YouTube and find workout video's there. Comment below if you exercise, and what keeps you motivated!

Youtube

Hey,

In my free time I like watching a lot of YouTube channels, I'm really into watching a lot of girly makeup or just funny channels. Some that I watch include juicystar07, allthatglitters21, macbarbie07, and missglamorazzi. Another channel that I will occasionally watch is bfvsgf! Juicystar07 and allthatglitters21 are two separate channels, but the YouTube vloggers are sisters; Elle and Blair. There video mainly consist of make up reviews, organization, and tutorials. Macbarbie07 is a girl name Bethany who is really funny, and she actually has a lot of different type of video's which I always enjoy watching. She's really seems down to earth and you can see she is a very bubbly person from her videos. Ingrid Nilsen who's channels are missglamorazzi video's are defiantly one of my favorite, she is really funny and sweet. If your not really into the girly videos bfvsgf is the channel that you would love. They put daily vlogs about their life everyday and those are always something that can cheer anyone up. They are always funny, and Jesse and Jena are always goofing around and doing weird things. Do you guys watch any YouTube channels?
